GridClash is a team quiz game you run from the projector. Add your own questions — or generate them from your syllabus — and your class competes in teams for points, power-ups and the spin wheel.
About GridClash
Project a live game board, split the class into teams, and run a proper competitive quiz — with a timer, power-ups and a spin wheel. Everything happens on one screen, so there are no devices to hand out and no logins to chase.
Teams huddle, argue and stay involved from the first question to the last. Use it for end-of-topic review, checking prior knowledge, or exam revision. It's been tested in real classrooms — and students ask when they're playing again.
Pick a ready-made example board and play in minutes — no account needed. Great for a first go or a quick end-of-unit review.
Upload a syllabus, worksheet, or topic summary and get draft questions in minutes — you review everything before class.
How question generation works
How it works
Type them in, upload a spreadsheet, generate a board from your notes — or pick a ready-made example board.
Two to eight teams. Power-ups, the spin wheel and predictions are already switched on — change them only if you want to.
Put the board on the big screen. GridClash runs the turns, timer and scores — you read the questions and award the points.
This is class mid-game. Reveal the answer, award points to the team that earned them, then pay out any other teams that predicted right. Every student stays in it — even when it's not their turn.
The power-ups here (accessed from the team names on the right) are just one example — in setup, you choose which ones appear. Keep the defaults, add your own with custom rules, or turn any off.
Spin & power-ups
Power-ups let teams double down, challenge rivals, or take a risk with the wheel. Predictions mean every student is invested in every answer — not just when it's their team's turn.
A power-up favourite. This is where the lesson gets loud. Customise the outcomes, add a slice, and let the wheel decide.
Question generation
Upload your notes, a worksheet or your syllabus and get a full draft board in about a minute — easier questions at the low point values, harder ones at the top. You review and edit every question before it goes on screen. Free account required.
Syllabus, worksheet, notes, or a short topic description.
Draft questions for your board when prep time is short.
Every question goes through you before class. Edit, reorder, or replace anything that isn't right.
Have questions already? Type them in manually in setup.
